Mario was born in Bangkok, Thailand on December 4th, 1988 to a German father and Thai-Chinese mother. Mario has one older brother, Marco, who is 5 years senior to him. Marco is a full-time hiphop artist in Germany who enjoys singing at various pubs. Mario's real name is Nutthawut, however, his father nicknamed him Mario eversince he was small. He started off as a model, but eventually got scouted off to professionalize himself in becoming an actor. `Til this day, Mario is known for his goodlooks, trademark: smile and eyesmile, and his good start of works such as: "The Love of Siam" and "Friendship". His most recent movie that was released in November 2010, First Love, was second (with the profit holdings of a total of 80million baht) in being a hit movie at the office box. Eventhough "Hi Stranger" (the movie that took first at office box) was a tad higher in terms of profiting compared to First Love, Mario Muarer and Fern Pimchanok Leuwisedpaiboon impressed the hearts of fans and Thailand by sweeping off the "Best Film Actor" award (Mario Muarer) and "Best Film Rising Actress" award (Fern Pimchanok Leuwisedpaiboon) at the Top Awards 2010 ceremony, plus- the two had won the "top-talked couple" award at the Mthai Awards 2011.
